Comments
This has a U2 sound to it.
does anyone have this without the singing
Beautiful!
them and bark psychosis: blending noise rock, acid house, post punk, and pop. The sampling on this song is layered so well. Its not too over produced like some of the bands that use that technique today.
My favourite song ever, if it's possible to have one. It makes me cry and smile at the same time.
brilliant!
Or at least an official compiliation of the 5eps with extensive liner notes!
I absolutely fuckin' adore this EP! God, I miss this band.
100% agree with lookslikemike. Couldn`t have put it better myself. The title track is great but Atheists burden and A little something off the EP are even better
I remember the day I purchased this EP. Beauty music! We´re getting old, but this kind of music sounds still fresh
thanks for posting!

Can only agree with all of the other comments. The Atheist's Burden is the defining moment of my musical life, and this EP is indeed the greatest I've ever found. All life and every good thing in it is there. And yes, I'm going on and on, but someone should...
Second language EP is the best single release i`ve ever purchased
I caught a dawn chorus this morning,
And it was a show-stopper.
I'm waking early again, and it's great.
I took a hell of a chance,
And it's paid off handsomely.
Now it looks like everything is right.
And the sky was deep blue, and the air was ice-cold.
I look at the sky quite a lot,
Don't you know?
'Cause I don't know what the future's got for me,
But it's gotta hold more than the past any day.
Now I don't care if the past has left marks on me
Who can't assess their own damage with their own two eyes?
God knows how we did it,
I guess we're all just scrabbling around in the dirt
We just aim for the sky.
There's so much pessimism around that it's frightening
Makes you wonder when it's all gonna end.
But if you get up real early--say 4:30--and look around,
You'll see the world before the cynics have got out of bed.

Absolutely brilliant -- my 2nd favorite DI song behind 'The Long Dance'
?
I saw a vision in blue and my blues flew away
and just for a second I truly believed
though I don't know what in
we tried to talk to each other
but the words that came out of our mouths
were carried away on the wind
which turned them inside out
in desperation I tried to communicate with my eyes
when all you've seen is people's pain
it's hard to feign surprise
and we just smile
we just smile
we just smile
