Underrated album and song
With all due respect for great Morse and Airey, this line up is THE Deep Purple. And what I love about this track is that it features one of the best bass lines by Glover during the chorus part

Think the band found the studio to be haunted, a bit like Deeves Hall. That seems to rub off on the song. Like it a lot, though.

Album jako całość jest bardzo dobry, melodyjny, ale długo musiałem do tego dojrzewać. Dziś to doceniam. Jednak te cholerne lata '80 (moja opinia w odniesieniu do klasycznego rocka tylko i wyłącznie) - brzmienie perkusji jest tragiczne. Ten pogłos, nie ma tego twardego werbla, takie mlaskanie tylko. No nic, ale muzyka się broni. P. S. Chyba nie było niemelodyjnego album Deep Purple. Ot może "Stormbringer".
