Dave Edmunds - Where Or When

Review by Ricardo Hilario Macedo Sanabria

Where Or When is the ninth studio album by Welsh rock musician Dave Edmunds, released in 1987. The album features a mix of rock and roll covers and original tracks, showcasing Edmunds' impressive guitar work and signature sound.

The album opens with a cover of Chuck Berry's "Nadine," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. Edmunds' guitar playing is clean and precise, and his vocals are smooth and polished. Other standout tracks include "The Wanderer," "Runaway Boys," and "Every Time I See Her."

One of the highlights of the album is the title track, a cover of the classic Rodgers and Hart song. Edmunds' rendition is soulful and heartfelt, with his guitar providing a beautiful accompaniment. Another standout is "Don't Call Me Tonight," an original track that showcases Edmunds' songwriting skills.

One of my fave songs then and now. Can't understand why DE wasn't a bigger star, only that maybe he was happy with where and who he was and is. Either way, really like his style, production, arrangements and musicianship.
