Definitely Al...would have been great to hear Al and Jimmy sing this together ?
Just listened to the Jimmy Rushing Benny Goodman version and now convinced this is the Al Hibbler version ??
I also first thought Jimmy Rushing was singing, but as the song went on I recognized Al's voice.

The confusion here is that Al Hibbler is essentially blues shouting a Rushing standard. However, it is definitely Al Hibbler. The photo appears to be Hibbler with Ben Webster.
That is definitely Sir Al! He is more than quite capable of shouting the blues.
I believe Freddy Chambers is correct. This is Jimmy Rushing.
This does not sound like Al Hibbler. This sounds like Jimmy Rushing! Al Hibbler is a big band crooner. This is Kansas City Blues, ala 5by5.
