Review by Fashion Houz Kenya

The album La Damnation de Faust by Charles Munch, Hector Berlioz, Boston Symphony Orchestra is a masterpiece that showcases the talent of the musicians and the conductor. The album features the entire opera, which is a dramatic retelling of the Faustian legend.

Munch's interpretation of Berlioz's work is exceptional, as he brings out the intensity and drama of the story through the music. The Boston Symphony Orchestra performs with precision and passion, capturing the essence of the story and the emotions of the characters.

The soloists are also outstanding, with tenor Richard Verreau delivering a powerful performance as Faust, and mezzo-soprano Blanche Thebom bringing a haunting quality to the role of Marguerite. The choir also adds depth and richness to the music, especially in the famous "Ride to the Abyss" scene.
