Carnivora - Judas

Review by Daniel Garcia

Carnivora's album Judas is a brutal and unrelenting assault on the senses. The band's blend of thrash and death metal is executed with precision and aggression, resulting in a collection of songs that are both punishing and memorable.

From the opening track "The Plague" to the closing epic "Chaos Theory", the album doesn't let up for a moment. The guitar work of Mike Meehan and Cody Michaud is particularly noteworthy, with blistering solos and intricate riffs that showcase their technical prowess.

Vocalist Haydee Irizarry delivers a ferocious performance throughout the album, switching seamlessly between guttural growls and piercing screams. The rhythm section of bassist Cam Loud and drummer Dan DeLucia provide a solid foundation for the band's sonic assault, with DeLucia's drumming in particular standing out for its precision and intensity.
