Review by Cameron Platt

Cannibe's latest album, Ptoma, is a haunting and atmospheric journey through the depths of the human psyche. From the opening track, "Hypnos", the listener is transported into a world of dark, brooding soundscapes that are both unsettling and mesmerizing.

The album is a masterful blend of electronic and acoustic elements, with pulsating beats and haunting melodies weaving in and out of each other. The use of field recordings and found sounds adds an eerie sense of realism to the tracks, as if the listener is hearing snippets of conversations and noises from a distant, otherworldly realm.

One standout track is "Void", which features a driving bassline and soaring synth melodies that build to a cathartic climax. The album's closer, "Necropolis", is a hauntingly beautiful track that features ethereal vocals and a sense of melancholy that lingers long after the final notes have faded away.
