Wonderful. Thanks for uploading.
Saw Billy at the Opry about 1983 he sang Detroit City and Old spinning wheel. He put on a great show.
I met Billy a few times. I was in the Navy with his nephew Brian Grammer. He actually played for me personally one night in Benton Illinois. It was an honor that I'll never forget. Brian and I used to be stationed in Millington Tenn. and we would go to his Grandma Helen's house in Benton Illinois on our off duty weekends.
Billy was born in my dads home town of Benton Illinois
. He actually grew up in a little town 7 miles west of Benton Christopher Illinois Where my mother was from. He was a year older than my mother she knew him in school.
