Review by Tamara Breque

Frogman Bradley is the debut album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bill Amesbury. The album was released in 1975 and features a blend of rock, pop, and country music. The album's title track, "Frogman Bradley," was a hit in Canada, reaching number 14 on the RPM singles chart.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Virginia (Touch Me Like You Do)." Amesbury's smooth vocals are complemented by the twangy guitar riffs and prominent piano accompaniment. "Frogman Bradley" is a standout track with its catchy chorus and infectious melody. The song tells the story of a Navy frogman who falls in love with a woman on the shore.

Other notable tracks on the album include "Can You Feel It," a slow ballad with a soulful feel, and "Sunday Morning," a more upbeat and lively track with a country influence. Amesbury's songwriting skills are evident throughout the album, with thoughtful lyrics and catchy melodies.

I've been trying for over 30 years to find this version of Frogman Bradley. There are no words that properly say "thank you". This means so much to me, even if I'm the only one on the planet who you helped with providing this song, THANK YOU!!!

Ad hoc salute to Johnny Cymbal's Mister Bass Man. Good one!
i haven't heard this song in over 30 yrs, at least. thank you for putting this online. if you have the single version is there any chance you could put that online as well?
Hey, James. Thanks for uploading this!! However, I've spent the last ten years trying to find a copy of this song that was on a K-tel 8-track tape, which sounds MUCH better than this version, and it's a one-of-a-kind, if you know what I mean. Do you like a challenge? Try to find a copy of that exact recording. I believe K-tel released it in 1975 or 1976. I'd like to think that the internet can have all recordings of all artists, but this is not the case. *sigh*

Wow! Thanks so much for getting this on the internet! I've been looking for this for over a decade, just so I could hear it again. And thanks for sending me an e-mail with the link to it. I remember posting a message for someone to please upload it, and you totally came through. It's people like you who make the internet a great experience.
