Review by Cengiz Soykök

Bernard Drukker's album Plays Godwin is a masterpiece of modern jazz that showcases the artist's impeccable musicianship and creativity. The album features 11 tracks that are a mix of original compositions and covers of jazz standards that have been reimagined with Drukker's unique style.

The album's title track, "Godwin," is a standout piece that highlights Drukker's skillful use of the saxophone as he weaves in and out of the melody. The track is a tribute to the late jazz pianist and composer Benny Green, and Drukker's rendition of the song is a fitting tribute to Green's legacy.

Other notable tracks on the album include "All the Things You Are," a classic jazz standard that Drukker infuses with his own improvisational flair, and "Body and Soul," a slow and sultry ballad that showcases Drukker's ability to convey emotion through his instrument.
