Review by Fred Ngo

Tohjinbo, the latest album by Derek And The Ruins, is a testament to the band's musical prowess and creativity. The album is a fusion of various genres, including rock, jazz, and experimental music, making it an exciting and unique listening experience.

The album opens with "Komorebi," a track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song features intricate guitar work and a driving rhythm that builds to a frenzied climax. This is followed by "Tohjinbo," the title track, which features a haunting melody and atmospheric soundscapes that transport the listener to a different realm.

The album's standout track is "Sakura," which is a beautiful and melancholic piece that showcases the band's ability to create emotionally charged music. The song features a stunning guitar solo that is both soulful and technically impressive.

Other notable tracks on the album include "Kitsune," a playful and upbeat tune that features a catchy melody and infectious rhythm, and "Shibuya," a track that combines elements of rock and jazz to create a dynamic and energetic sound.
