Review by Miguel Angel

Pinchcliffe Grand Prix, the album by Bent FabriciusBjerre, is a delightful musical journey that takes the listener on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The album features the iconic soundtrack of the 1975 Norwegian animated film, Flåklypa Grand Prix, which was composed by FabriciusBjerre.

The album opens with the cheerful and upbeat track "The Race," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The album features a range of musical styles, from the whimsical "Bicycle Chase" to the more dramatic "The Accident" and "The Chase."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Ballad of Emanuel Desperados," a haunting and melancholic tune that perfectly captures the film's bittersweet ending. FabriciusBjerre's use of accordion, piano, and strings throughout the album gives it a distinct European flavor that is both charming and endearing.
