Live In Japan by Bay City Rollers is a thrilling album that captures the energy and excitement of the band's live performances. Recorded during their 1977 tour of Japan, the album features the band's biggest hits, including "Saturday Night" and "Bye Bye Baby," as well as a number of lesser-known tracks.
The album showcases the band's tight musicianship and infectious enthusiasm, as they work the crowd into a frenzy with their catchy pop-rock tunes. Singer Les McKeown is in fine form, delivering his signature high-pitched vocals with plenty of charisma and charm.
One of the highlights of the album is the extended version of "Shang-A-Lang," which features an extended guitar solo and some impressive harmonies from the band. Other standout tracks include the bouncy "Money Honey" and the upbeat "Keep on Dancing."
