Collide's Two Headed Monster is a unique and haunting album that blends elements of industrial, electronic, and gothic rock. The duo of kaRIN and Statik create a soundscape that is both beautiful and eerie, with kaRIN's ethereal vocals soaring over Statik's intricate and textured production.
The album opens with the pulsing beats and distorted guitars of "In the Frequency," setting the tone for the dark and atmospheric journey that follows. "Tears Like Rain" showcases kaRIN's emotive vocals over a haunting piano melody, while "Head Spin" features hypnotic rhythms and glitchy electronics.
