About Axis
Axis is a hard rock/heavy metal band from Stockton-on-Tees, England, Great Britain, that was formed in 1978. The band was part of the NWOBHM movement and split up in 1981. One of a few bands called Axis from Great Britain in the early 80s, that had only one release while active. Therefore not to be confused with , from Liverpool and from Leicester. Also not to be confused with Axis from Stoke-on-Trent, another metal band.

Comments
Totally agree mate.
Awesome track from an obscure and underrated NWOBHM band!
Quite decent tracks with guitarist Mick Tucker and renowned keyboard player Paul McGuire actually gives a pretty strong atmosphere. The vocals are clearly quite average, but the talent of Dave Little and Mick Tucker gives a pleasant feeling. Guitar harmony in this amazing reminiscent of one of the early 80's Iron Maiden, while the extreme echo effect on the vocals - a nice touch. In general, this is quite a pleasant, slightly soft, early "New Wave of British Heavy Metal."
These Nwobhm bands are the best ever, wish they could bring this sound back
Better than many music nowadays!
Across the sea of staring faces, a blinding flash of light...raised hands against the dark, a single beam ignites the night!
Glad you like it, one of mine all-time favourites.
