About Atlanta Rhythm Section
Atlanta Rhythm Section, sometimes abbreviated ARS, is an American Southern rock band. The band unofficially formed in 1970 as former members of the Candymen and the Classics IV became the session band for the newly opened in Doraville, Georgia.
The band still tours with some of its original members, playing mostly festivals and other nostalgia-themed concerts.

Everything Kenny Lane said and more. I loved this song already as a teen. Then I got my 1st kiss from my 1st love while this song played on the radio, so naturally I've loved it ever since!
ARS. The Best.
I love these ole' song's..They never get old. Rock n Roll ! Miss the 70's......
Love Ronnie Hammond
I have loved everything I have ever heard from Atlanta Rhythm Section since I was a kid, but this is the first time I've heard this song and I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!
The weird thing is that when the live version came out several years later I was certain I'd heard the song, but nobody I knew had. It just now hit me- I'd heard this version played on a local, rebel radio station in Augusta, GA (144 mi from Atlanta).
R.I.P. Ronnie...?
Who's Travis Tritt?
I saw ARS at a community festival around 2000; long after their heyday but the admission price was right. They still really could play, and cooked with this song in their opening set.
I remember seeing the ARS show at the Fox in Atlanta on New Year's Eve 1977: Great show!
