Angel Corpse - The Inexorable

Review by Autumn Caravona

The Inexorable is an album that showcases the raw power and intensity of Angel Corpse's brand of death metal. From the opening track, "Stormgods Unbound," to the closing notes of "The Fall of the Idols of Flesh," the album is a relentless assault on the senses.

The musicianship on display is impressive, with the guitar work of Gene Palubicki and Bill Taylor standing out in particular. The riffs are fast and furious, and the solos are blistering. Pete Helmkamp's vocals are equally ferocious, as he spits out the lyrics with venom and conviction.

Summary by Autumn Caravona

The production is suitably raw and abrasive, giving the album a gritty, underground feel. This is not an album for the faint of heart, but for fans of extreme metal, The Inexorable is a must-have. Angel Corpse may not have achieved the same level of mainstream success as some of their peers, but this album is a testament to their uncompromising vision and dedication to their craft.
