Anacrusa's self-titled album is a masterpiece of Latin American progressive rock. The band's virtuosic musicianship is on full display throughout the album's nine tracks, which range from the energetic and bombastic to the introspective and contemplative.

The album's opener, "El Sacrificio," sets the tone for the rest of the record with its driving rhythms, intricate guitar work, and soaring vocals. From there, the band takes the listener on a journey through a variety of moods and tempos, from the frenetic "Despertar" to the hauntingly beautiful "El Laberinto."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "El Encuentro," which features a stunning guitar solo and a soaring vocal performance from lead singer Anacrusa. The song builds to a powerful climax, showcasing the band's ability to create dynamic and emotionally charged music.

Los conocí en la década de los 80, tenía ésta música en un cassette, gastado de tanto escucharlo. Qué emoción volver a él, ojos llenos de lágrimas y corazón alegre y lleno de dulce alegría

Muchas gracias por subir esta música. Yo tenía este disco en vinilo y probablemente era de una edición anterior porque incluía el tema Disparada del compositor brasileño Geraldo Vandré, que no figura en la reedición en CD de los dos primeros LPs de la banda que hizo el sello Redondel.
