Heard Waylon sing this in person the last time he performed in Ohio in the late 90s. Sounded great
First I have heard this version love it but with or without the Kimberly's Waylon Jennings does the best version. R.I.P WAYLON
My parents were into Waylon from the early years onward. This might be the first Waylon song I ever heard.....if not then certainly Love of the Common People. So lucky to have had this music my entire life.
When I was radio program director in the 1980's, this song was a favorite for our nighttime DJs to play. When I'd be at home listening and hear the song start, I knew whoever was on the air needed a long bathroom break because it's 5 minutes in length. Ah, the good old days of vinyl records.
love
I miss you grandma verna ?
my favorite version of this song right here.
This rendition is wonderful.
Such a mysterious masterpiece .....
So haunting and yet so familiar is some complicated way .
Terrifying and yet comforting.
I will take my life into my hands ........
Wow , how does a person comprehend the easy unknown solution to the puzzle
