With the correct accent they can sing "Poison Ave Maria!" lol
Ha there's the proof the moonwalk before Michael Jackson 2:26

Siri do you hear this chickenpox to moms to measles are you kidding me this song is I was only four years old
Is this song about getting crabs in the 60’s? Bahahaha Sevlon D?
the way my name is ivy
Here's another fun fact that blew me away. When The Beatles did "Some Other Guy" I had no idea it was Co Written by Leiber/Stoller and Richard Barrett (A Poor Man's Berry Gordy). He worked with The Chantels who had the hit Maybe and The Three Degrees. In The Documentary I'm In A Girl Group Richard would say "I Can Replace You Just Like That" and at least 15 Women came through The Ranks.
I used to Watch American Band stand after school never missed it. Dark shadows too.
Didn't the Drummer bash & murder Penny Hill in 1991.??
We were on a cruise a few yrs back and met the drummer Col and his partner. Nicest couple ?
Rest in pease billy man my idol , moon walk before Michael Jackson.
Thorpey did the 'moonwalk' years before Jacko came along /~
Freakin hell,,, even a left-handed guitarist like Paul McCartney. What are the odds of that?

Just a bit of trivia. This song has NOTHING to do with the poison ivy plant. ??It about something entirely different. I'll never tell. ??
My daughter is Ivy love it
https://youtu.be/RGPUBSQLgfs will flip you out
Std's never so good
Vince Maloney, hell of a guitarist!
I used to go to Surf City Kings Cross to watch them at weekends, in about 1964 when I was 15, amazing,...
Funky looking guitar and bass the two guys on the far right (lead guitarist and bassist) are playing. I've read somewhere that in the early rock days in Oz there were Oz-made guitars, because the usual Fender / Vox / Gibson / etc. weren't plentiful at that time. Cool to see.
what a showman
Reg Mombassa likes this.
The Song that they are Singing was one of the many Songs from The Music Catalogue of The Late Jerry Lieber (RIP) and Mike Stoller who first met in 1950 through a Mutual friend at 17. They wrote "Hound Dog" which was originally a Hit for Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton. Then they wrote or Co Wrote Songs for The Coasters, Drifters, Wilbert Harris, Elvis Presley, Steelers Wheel. Phil Spector was their Protege and they also worked with up and Coming Singer/Songwriters from the Legendary Brill Building. Carole King/Gerry Coffin, George "Shadow" Morton, Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil and Jeff Barry/Ellie Greenwich (RIP). They also produced The "Original" Version of "Go Now" By Bessie Banks which was the breakthrough song for The Moody Blues with Denny Laine before Justin Hayward joined them.
