nice music
This album changed everything! Omfg, this and volume 2 were the soundtracks to so many epic after-after-after parties from ‘99 until about 2003.
The dot.com boom in the late 90s changed the club scene forever.
There’s never been another time in history where so many young millionaires (at least on paper ?) wanted to go to clubs. Not just bars but clubs and listen to House Music!
Ecstasy (I refuse to call it Molly) was the social lubricant of the era——Green Clovers anyone?—-and the party started on Friday and didn’t end until early Monday morning.
So much fun.
The dot com bust killed a lot of it but it was a great time while it lasted.
Peace and Love to you all. ❤️

Always loved this session. Any suggestion like this one?
Came back here today to relive the moment I discovered the lounge/downtempo genre 18 years ago! I worked with a guy who streamed this at his desk on a platform by Virgin Radio called "Liquid Lounge". Thanks Anh Tu Phouk (Derrik) for playing it at your desk 18 years ago! (this album was released in 1998)
side note: I'd be lying if I said the album cover didn't catch my attention way back in 2003 when I first heard this album!

The very first time I heard this music was September 11. 2001. At that time i was working for an airline and on a layover in Fort Lauderdale, FL on that terrible day. This album was playing over the speaker at a retail shop my crew and I had stopped in at.
