Exploring the textures, physicalities, and instabilities of electroacoustic mediums
Vasco Alves interest lies mainly in the use of radio and static textures produced with customised analogue devices and software. The material generated is often of volatile nature and consequently subjected to strict live processing techniques.
Adam Asnan is a London based composer-performer of Musique Concrète, who's work promotes the aesthetic potential of fixed (recorded), amplified sound, and the instabilities of a medium; the auditory 'image' subject to intervention, disruption and disintegration.
Louie Rice works with electronic and acoustic systems utilising the physicality of the medium, signal chain and spatial context to create disruptive audio material with a tendency towards a cold reductive aesthetic.
