Too Close To Touch's self-titled album is everything fans could hope for and more. The band's signature sound of post-hardcore meets alternative rock is showcased on this record, but with a more polished and refined edge. The album's opener, "I'll Leave You Lonely," sets the tone with its heavy guitar riffs and emotional lyrics. The band's ability to switch seamlessly between soft, melodic moments and intense, head-banging choruses is on full display throughout the album, particularly on tracks like "Burn" and "Before I Cave In." Vocalist Keaton Pierce's powerhouse vocals shine on every track, particularly on the haunting ballad "Miss Your Face." The album closes with the epic "Crooked Smile," showcasing the band's ability to craft a song that is both beautiful and heavy. Too Close To Touch's self-titled album is a must-listen for fans of the genre and a testament to the band's growth and talent.
