Tony Hatch (born 30 June 1939, Pinner, Middlesex, England) is a British composer, songwriter, pianist, producer and arranger. He was married to from 1966 until their divorce in 2002, with whom he wrote many songs. They also started the music publishing company . Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2013

2 out of 10 for this effort, and I'm being generous. Quite liked the classical style arrangement of the middle section, but that was all.

Well this one's a surprise Al. Must admit I never knew Tony played piano - can't imagine why he would release this rather uninspiring version of Russ' smash. Wasn't the best way of getting yourself noticed sadly.
...well this side is definitely an improvement on the other. Not a bad cover of Mr.Piano's number I have to
say. Joe didn't score too well with his original so Tony had an uphill journey to say the least - should have been the A side though I reckon.
