Tom Encore - Spellbound

Tom Encore (or Tomasz Stempniewicz) is a dj and producer from Warsaw, Poland. Raised in a family of musicians, his experience with sound began very early. But it was not until 2002, when he heard some of Dieselboy's mix CDs, that he discovered his first true fascination. He's been hooked up with drum & bass ever since, but that wasn't the end for musical explorations. Today Tom Encore focuses on dubstep as a producer, but when he plays live he's like a grinding machine mashing up all sorts of electronic music: from wonky, glitch-hop or skwee to dubstep, hip-hop and dirty electro, creating a high energy mixture of bass-driven beats. His talent was appreciated in his native Poland, where he'd given hundreds of gigs and was picked the best Polish DJ of the year 2008 (by the decision of users of DNB.pl, Poland's largest drum & bass and breakbeat music forum), as well as by clubbers and DJs all around the world. After releases on Excision's Rottun Recordings and being showcased on BBC Radio 1 or SUB FM, Tom Encore is gaining more attention fast. Supported by many dj's worldwide, such as Dirtyphonics, Excision, Gaslamp Killer, John B or NumberNin6 to name a few.
