About Thomas Arne Roger Bevan Williams Cantilena Adrian Shepherd
English composer, violinist, and keyboard player (12 March 1710 5 March 1778).
Today he is probably best known for writing the British patriotic song, 'Rule, Britannia!' which is part of his opera 'Alfred' (1740) and for his opera 'Artaxerxes' (1762).
