Covert by Testube is a mesmerizing album that showcases the artist's unique blend of electronic and industrial sounds. The album features 11 tracks that are both haunting and energetic, laced with intricate melodies and driving beats. From the opening track "Ritualistic" to the closing number "The Ghost of You and Me," Covert takes the listener on an emotional journey through a dark and mysterious soundscape.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Deadly Nightshade," which features haunting vocals layered over a pulsing beat and eerie synths. "Black Ice" is another highlight, with its hypnotic melody and driving rhythm. Throughout the album, Testube's use of distortion and effects creates a sense of unease and tension that keeps the listener engaged and on edge.

Notes
- This 10-track EP was the first Testube release on newly formed Glim Records, featuring five new Testube tracks and remixes from R010R, Type001, LowHero.DLL, Ptyl, and Digital Dirt Heads. A five-track version of the EP without the additional remixes was also available, but as a free download.
- After a long hiatus, TESTUBE returned from the outer limits of electro with the Covert EP, an intriguing approach at vocal-driven "experimental pop". Intermittently composting gritty abstract rhythms and industrial glitch sampling into a slightly more accessible framework of dark electro-pop, the Covert EP serves as an appropriate teaser for the upcoming TESTUBE full length titled Off Purpose. This version of the release was offered as a free 5-track EP from Glim Records.
