In the '60's , and on into the '90's , and even later, my late wife , Patsy , and I played Country Music in quite a few venues . This was a favorite of hers , and we played it many times . Sue was an exceptional performer ! Thanks for posting !
I have this album i enjoy listening to it
I may had seen her on television whenever she was working with Tammy and didn't relaised then she was her back up singer. Still she had a voice nashville should've paid attention to.
I know Sue worked as Tammy Wynette's harmony singer up until the time of Tammy's death in '98, but I'm not sure what she's doing now.
A great track from a very talented lady who was part of the ABC roster during the 70s and she certainly deserved to hit the big time which she unfortunately missed out on.
This to me should have bene a chart topper and for whatever reason it may have been deem too country for Nashville but still a great record that should've bene given a much big boost and a major label like ABC shoukld've known better. I l;ike to know where Sue Richards is now?
Thank's for upload of this (by/for me) unkwown person. The studio musician work (on dobro, you can hear "or a five string dobro or a fretted dobro picked with cross picking ???) is well and the harmony construction included little "new chords" as usual. Jo Luttringer (France)
