Steely Dan - Hey Nineteen

Review by Lynn Ganster

Hey Nineteen by Steely Dan is a classic album that showcases the band's signature blend of jazz, rock, and pop. The album features some of Steely Dan's most popular hits, including "Hey Nineteen," "Gaucho," and "Time Out of Mind."

The album's production is top-notch, with crisp instrumentals and smooth vocals that perfectly complement each other. The band's musicianship is on full display, with intricate guitar riffs, complex drum patterns, and catchy bass lines that keep the listener engaged throughout.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Hey Nineteen," a song that perfectly captures the band's unique sound. The song's catchy chorus and infectious melody make it an instant classic, and it's easy to see why it remains one of Steely Dan's most beloved songs to this day.

When I was 6 I used to dance around and play air guitar with the record sleeve during the outro solo. My parents got me into Dan early - they were cool ?
