Sparkle's self-titled debut album, released in 1998, is a soulful R&B masterpiece that showcases the impressive vocal range and emotional depth of the late singer-songwriter Sparkle. Produced by R. Kelly, the album features a mix of slow-burning ballads and upbeat dance tracks that blend classic soul and contemporary hip-hop influences.

From the opening track "Still Be Bad" to the closing ballad "Lovin' a Man," Sparkle's voice commands attention with its raw power and vulnerability. The standout track "Be Careful," a cautionary tale about the perils of falling in love with the wrong person, showcases Sparkle's ability to convey complex emotions with her voice alone.
