Solid Globe - North Pole

Review by Niklaus Gerber

The album "North Pole" by Solid Globe is an exemplary piece of work that showcases the true essence of trance music. The Dutch duo of Nic Vegter and Raz Nitzan has done an outstanding job in creating an album that is both melodious and energetic. The album comprises twelve tracks, each with its unique style and sound.

The album begins with the title track "North Pole," a mesmerizing piece that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The track is a perfect blend of uplifting melodies and pulsating beats, which creates an uplifting and euphoric atmosphere. The album then moves on to tracks like "Sahara," "Lost Cities," and "Crystal Water," which are equally impressive and showcase the duo's versatility as producers.

The album's standout track is undoubtedly "Black Wood," a hauntingly beautiful piece that is sure to send shivers down your spine. The track's ominous atmosphere is created through a combination of eerie synths, haunting vocals, and a pounding bassline. It's a track that will leave a lasting impression on anyone who listens to it.

Enormous thanks to Raz for helping me identify the name of this wonderful version of his amazing North Pole track. I originally recorded this version off BBC Radio One's "Essential Selection" show onto tape 20 years ago and never knew who made it. I've been trying to find a full, clean version for 20 years!! Here it is ????

@Halo2glitchlover22 at one point he was. he has several songs ranked in the trance top 1000. 139. Deadmau5 feat. Kaskade - I Remember (Original Mix) 191. Deadmau5 - Strobe (Original Mix) 230. Deadmau5 feat. Rob Swire - Ghosts N Stuff (Original Mix) 316. Kaskade & Deadmau5 - Move For Me (Original Mix).. thats just some of them.. you can argue that they arent trance but they've been voted as otherwise.

@boomasawrus You could also argue that 95% of trance fans listen to the same formulaic, crappy trance synths over an over again. its not been a great few years has it?
