Review by Syahrulia Enggawati

Sidney Bechet's album, "Baby Won't You Please Come Home," is a captivating jazz masterpiece that showcases his exceptional musicianship and unique style. The album features a collection of classic jazz standards, including the title track, which Bechet delivers with his signature soulful and bluesy sound.

The album's opening track, "Blue Horizon," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its upbeat tempo and lively improvisation. Bechet's virtuosic clarinet playing is on full display in tracks like "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "When It's Sleepy Time Down South," where his effortless technique and expressive phrasing shine through.

The album also features several slower, more introspective tracks like "I Know That You Know" and "Si Tu Vois Ma Mere," where Bechet's emotive playing creates a haunting and melancholic atmosphere.
