Review by MNTSPAK

Down Yonder Chicago by Sid Phillips And His Band is a delightful album that showcases the best of traditional jazz music. The album features 12 tracks, each one filled with energy, passion, and a sense of nostalgia that transports the listener to a bygone era.

The album opens with the upbeat and lively "Down Yonder Chicago", a track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The music is infectious, and the band's performance is outstanding. The album continues with tracks like "Tin Roof Blues" and "The Entertainer", which are equally impressive.

The album's standout track is undoubtedly "St. Louis Blues". The band's performance is nothing short of exceptional, and the track's emotional depth is palpable. The song is a true testament to the band's talent and the power of jazz music.

I love this as well as your other videos and the vintage tables are so much more durable and well made that it is such a shame that they are not around and being made anymore . I guess cheap and garbage is what people want and not stuff that lasts and works well .. thank you for all your posts and looking forward to more in the future

I have made an amplifier that does duty as the other channel for my Hacker Gondolier.
It was a 6SL7GT and a 6V6. Not enough gain to fully drive the 6V6.
Tried using the 'spare' triode as a boot-strapped cathode follower. Not much difference.
I tried a more sensitive o/p valve (6CH6). Better (louder), but I need more gain.
What gain does the EF37A deliver?
Send me a private message if you wish to discuss my problem.

I seek advice relating to my own amplifier

Hi J

Many thanks for the comments I have been doing up a few old players both electric and gramophone for a while now and find great fun in doing so i have a few record players waiting for my attention. i am just getting into you-tube postings, and have found educational as i find out things from others.
