About Sanford Clark
Sanford Clark (born October 24, 1935, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA died July 4, 2021, Joplin, Missouri, USA) was an American country-rockabilly singer and guitarist. Clark found fleeting fame with his rendition of the Lee Hazlewood-penned song "The Fool" in 1956, which peaked in the Top Ten of the pop charts and Top 15 of the country charts, but was his only significant hit. After the success of "The Fool" he began a promotional tour opening for stars such as Ray Price and Roy Orbison, but after a string of recordings which failed to perform well, Clark gave up on professional musicianship and instead ran a successful construction business for most of his life. Sanford continued to occasionally distribute music through his Desert Sun record label following his departure from the music business.

RIP Sanford Clark (October 24, 1935 – July 4, 2021)
RIP Sandford Clarke ??
One of the greatest combinations of rockabilly, rock & roll and country music: Lee Hazlewood, Al Casey, Duane Eddy, Sanford Clark, and Phoenix's right-place-at-the-right-time studio, Audio Recorders. (Add Donnie Owens and Loy Clingman to the mix as well.) Co-writer and also an important element in the mix is Naomi Shackleford Hazlewoodr; from Discogs, "Naomi Ford songwriting pseudonym of Lee Hazlewood's first wife. Many of her credits were in fact written by Hazlewood."
Check out Rochee and the Sarnos cover...
Jealousy
Love the sound of his voice, the only song of his I can remember ever hearing on the radio was The Fool. Sure glad I found so many other great songs of his here on YouTube! Never dreamed he recorded so many!♡

This dude is the undisputed KING of creepy stalker music yo, Sanford Clark Babies!!!
upper b and e string 1/4 step down, plus lower E string full step higher then you arrange everything from the 7th fret and you will have it ... but this rusty old guitar cant be copyied :D
Brilliant, thank you!
I had this for years by the "Earls of Suave" and only realized this minute it was a cover. Thanks again for the titillation and enjoyment.

This is pure Rockabilly. Not rock n roll at all, it is to close to country music.
Technically it ain't Rockabilly at all: just plain fifties Rock and Roll!
Haunting,Sinister,Enigmatic,Fantastic,Rockabilly!!
Sanford Clark is one of the most under rated singers ever. I love his work !
Epitome of Rockabilly, rating less than 5 stars is simply stupid.
I love the combination of Al Casey's guitat and Sanford Clark's singing.
