This was THE BOMB from a cool fellow years ago! Sweet Soca Song had me dancing aplenty!
This is the kind of soca song that soca artists need to study if they are trying to inject soca music into the veins of people around the world. I am not saying that soca has to be like this, but this is probably the best blueprint out of T&T for what soca music was supposed to sound like. Right now soca music has no identity, which is why so many artists can't give a definite answer when asked what is soca. We saw one of the biggest soca artists on the Breakfast Club had a hard time defining soca, but there are many who can't. If you sit in class and always copying from the student next to you, then eventually nothing will be yours.
