REM - Tongue

REM's album "Tongue" is a true masterpiece that showcases the band's musical prowess and creative genius. From the opening track "Tongue" to the closing number "I'm Not Over You", the album takes the listener on a journey through an array of emotions and musical styles.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Bittersweet Me", which features Michael Stipe's haunting vocals and the band's signature guitar riffs. The song is a perfect blend of melancholy and energy, and it's easy to see why it became a fan favorite.
Another highlight of the album is "Electrolite", a beautiful ballad that showcases Stipe's poetic lyrics and the band's ability to create a dreamy, atmospheric sound. The song's chorus is particularly memorable, with Stipe crooning "If I ever want to fly, Mulholland Drive, I am alive".

The sounds of the best times of many Gen-x'ers lives.
I have loved REM since the 80s, like many of you, and I can watch and watch the same videos over and over again...I still cry, I still laugh, scream, shout, and realize that I am one of the lucky ones to have heard these amazing story tellers and musicians in my lifetime. I know 100 years from now, the same thoughts and feelings will be expressed. Long live REM!

This song will forever remind me of my birthday my two best friends screaming at each other in a Wendy's parking lot I stepped in to grab a drink and just really felt this song playing ...I was really really ...really stoned lol but hey my friends came in saw me dancing badly to this song and laughed ?
This is a weirdly multiversal song of uber excellence. It seems to refer to extra dimensions, in a relaxed fashion (thanks guys)

Well, this is awesome. Didn't even know it existed, and I've been a fan for 25 years.
There are not many bands in the history of modern music that can represent nostalgia the way R.E.M. does in a 3 minute pop song. Countless examples along their discography. Art in its purest form
