Porcupine Tree - Time Flies

Time Flies is a compilation album by Porcupine Tree, released in 2010. The album features tracks from the band's early years, as well as their later works. It is a perfect representation of the band's evolution over the years.
The album starts with "Strip the Soul," a track from their 2002 album In Absentia, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song has a heavy, dark atmosphere, and the vocals are haunting. The next track, "The Rest Will Flow," from their 2000 album Lightbulb Sun, is a complete contrast to the first track. It has a more upbeat, poppy feel to it, and the vocals are more melodic.
The album also includes some of the band's most popular tracks, such as "Blackest Eyes," "Trains," and "Lazarus." These tracks showcase the band's ability to create beautiful melodies and intricate arrangements.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Anesthetize," a 17-minute epic from their 2007 album Fear of a Blank Planet. The track features a range of different moods and styles, from heavy rock to ambient soundscapes. It is a true masterpiece that showcases the band's talent for creating complex, multi-layered music.
