Review by Kevin Yung

Pierre Henry's Mise En Musique Du Corticalart De Roger Lafosse is a groundbreaking album that showcases the composer's mastery of electronic music. The album is a tribute to the work of Roger Lafosse, a French artist who created a series of abstract paintings using a technique called "cortical art."

Henry's compositions are a perfect match for Lafosse's art, as they both explore the boundaries of perception and consciousness. The album features a series of electronic pieces that are both haunting and beautiful, with intricate layers of sound that build and recede like waves.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Corticalart V," which features a hypnotic rhythm and a swirling, otherworldly melody. The track is a perfect example of Henry's ability to create music that is both cerebral and emotional, with a sense of mystery and wonder that draws the listener in.
