LONG LIVE PAT TRAVERS ❤️?
This Music got me through SO much: Amen to the efforts and achievements of Mr. Pat Tavers for All Time. May I wish you now inspired thoughts and blessings to your loved ones also, ive loved this and followed PT since the 70’s..
The project's 1978 album, Heat in the Street, sounds identical to its past efforts.
This is the best sound that he played and, the quality is really good. My favorite song that Pat played,
Heeyaahh! I guess.... it just bothers me Tommy sounds SO, not! like himself. Drums are weak in the mix, to o damp.....produced tight into the carpet But the Pat man is still on his game even today! Pat ended up falling from my interest as band changed hands on drums and bass. Several times I think. And blah, blah I know......
So much fuckin,swagger!,,,2020 suck it???
Was lucky to catch PT with Rick Derringer in the 90s @ tiny club in Austin (SNEAKERS!) just tearin' the air with guitar!
Best album Pat ever made. Saw this band in Memphis.
youll never catch me..... lol my my my said the spider to the fly.... F#9
This stereo recording is missing the right or left channel.
Haven't heard this in years. I forgot how badass it is. I'm going to say something and it's not blasphemy. I think the reason "go for what you know" was such an important album was because we got to hear the raw Pat Travers. Travers had a tendency to overproduce in the studio. He was seduced by the overdubs and wanted to use every track on the tape. I wish these albums could be remixed and remastered. I think that would sell huge today. There's just nobody who did it as good as he did. The Rock Groove.
wat ever happened to mars cowling he was one hot bass player
This would better without the 'chirping birds' sprinkled throughout... It reminds me of a cassette tape with way too many miles on it !
What a rhythm section!! And the guitar melodies ring that original Travers (Thrall) sound
saw Pat at the Alrosa Villa. you know the place where Dimebag Darrell got shot
man.....what a HOT FUCKIN SONG by Pat....amazing Guitar work.
Man! Best song on the album. Ya baby!
