Neil Sedaka, in a recent 2010 interview, stated that it was the arrival of the British Invasion, most notably who halted his singing career, in the early 60's.
Collaborating with songwriting partners, and , he penned numerous hits written for , , among others. He credits for reviving his singing career in the mid-70's. John signed him to his new label and sang on "Bad Blood". That first LP couldn't have had a more appropriate title, simply "Sedaka's Back".
Married to since 11 September 1962 with whom they have a daughter, and a son, Marc. First cousin of .

I WORKED AT DISNEYLAND IN ANAHEIM IN 1964 AT THE RED WAGON INN WHICH HOUSED THE EMPLOYEE CAFETERIA AND IT WAS ALWAYS A JOY WHEN ALICE IN WONDERLAND CAME THROUGH THE RESTAURANT ON HER WAY TO THE CAFETERIA. SHE WAS A BEAUTY

the 50's and early 60's was the golden age of the USA. I now see us in our darkest period of our short history. i find no words to say how fortunate it was to be alive then. i would not ever exchange it for being so young in todays world.
