Mother's Cake - Creations Finest

Mother's Cake has released yet another outstanding album with "Creations Finest". The band's unique blend of psychedelic rock, funk, and progressive metal is on full display throughout the album's 10 tracks. The musicianship is top-notch, with intricate guitar riffs and solos, driving basslines, and explosive drumming that keeps the listener engaged from start to finish.
The album kicks off with the energetic "Black Roses", which sets the tone for what's to come. "The Sun" showcases the band's more mellow side, with a beautiful acoustic guitar intro that builds into a soaring chorus. "Love Your Smell" is a funky, upbeat track with a catchy chorus that is sure to get stuck in your head.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Hail The Sun", which features a driving rhythm section and a blistering guitar solo. "The Operator" is another highlight, with its heavy, distorted riffs and soaring vocals. The album closes with the epic "Tears Of Joy", a 10-minute masterpiece that showcases the band's musical prowess.

The Soul Prison jam is ecstatic. It should be it's own album. Keyboards remind me of Bob Mann on Frampton's Do You Feel Like We Do. Guitar shreds. Voice rips. Absolutely fantastic.
This reminds me a lot of the mars volta and at the drive in! Really good! I personally just wished the mastering would have been more lofi, but that's just my opinion. Good stuff!

I would describe this as your looniest friend pulling up in a 70's era red caddy and yelling GET IN ASSHOLE! And you get in and he starts driving crazy and talking crazy and you're terrified but laughing your ass off and having a great time. Music used to be like this -- unpredictable, unique, talented, fantastic, unexpected, fresh. Now it's all derived off the same laptop tracks. These guys are f'ing awesome.
If anybody knows of any bands similar to this or the mars volta please let me know lol
