Moss - Tape Of Doom

Review by Meghan Benton

The album Tape of Doom by Moss is a heavy dose of sludgy doom metal that is sure to satisfy any fan of the genre. The band's sound is a mix of slow, crushing riffs and haunting, atmospheric passages that create a sense of impending doom.

The album opens with the track "Hoof and Horn," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its slow, lumbering pace and ominous vocals. From there, the album continues to deliver heavy, brooding tracks like "Spectral Visions" and "The Coral of Chaos," which showcase the band's ability to create a dark, foreboding atmosphere.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Dark Lady," which features a haunting, melodic guitar line and eerie vocals that build to a crushing crescendo. The album closes with the epic "I Saw Them That Night," a 15-minute opus that takes the listener on a journey through the band's dark, twisted world.
