i have now words to explain my gratitude for this song, i was born on 1971 years and i love and have this movie, but i search for many years the entire score nad never found never this song...NOW I FOUND IT AND I WILL LISTEN THIS EVERY DAYS OF MY LIFES. The 1969 film "The Assassination Bureau" starring Diana Rigg and Oliver Reed is truly a forgotten gem. A light, brisk, globe-trotting comedy-thriller that takes place on the eve of the First World War. Recommended viewing!
I forgot to mention this is my Mountain Dew song I listen to this song when I drink this soda.
I now have 15 of these records and now call it quits on buying them since they are expensive. I will keep listening to this song since it has always been one of my favourite songs. It is an F major jazzy progression song that is its key signature.

I was fortunate to buy 9 45 rpm records of this song Life is a Precious Thing on line. The records are over 50 years old in excellent condition and expensive and are not for sale. I have 7 of them right now and 2 are on their way from Europe. I will post when they come in and will buy 1 more making it a total of 10 of these records.
Also one of those 9 records has that similar emblem with the green background (my favourite colour) with that large white A on it. That costed me over $220,00 or approximately 185 British Pounds. All of my records so far were purchased from various European nations.
By reducing the bass and boosting the treble was able to discern the lyrics of the song as follows:
