Metroland's album, Theme For Metroland, is a true masterpiece of electronic music. The duo, consisting of Passenger S and Passenger A, take the listener on a journey through the world of Metrology, with each track representing a different aspect of the metrological world.

The album's opening track, "Theme For Metroland," sets the tone for the entire album. It's a hypnotic, almost trance-like piece that builds slowly and steadily, drawing the listener deep into Metroland's world.

As the album progresses, the duo explores different themes, from the futuristic "Zeppelin" to the more introspective "Inner City Transport." Throughout the album, the production is flawless, with each track showcasing the duo's skillful use of synths and electronic beats.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Re-Design," a pulsating, energetic piece that perfectly captures the essence of Metroland's sound. The track builds to a crescendo, with layers of synths and beats coming together in a glorious climax.

  • Originally intended to be part of a package accompanying a photo book called "144" that never materialised due to printing quality issues. The money from pre-orders were refunded, and those who had placed the pre-orders were later offered to purchase the items from the package without the book. The package includes this CD-r, a t-shirt, a numbered postcard signed by Passengers A & S and Passenger K (Kristel Nijskens, the band's long-time photograper who's pictures the book was going to be based on) and a discography card.
  • The CD-r is housed in a clear plastic sleeve with artwork insert.
  • Track durations taken from computer.
  • A CDR was sent to 6 main metro stations globally.

Electronic band from Belgium.
