Review by Bruna Pinheiro

The album "Années De Pèlerinage" by Liszt Bertrand Chamayou is a remarkable collection of classical piano pieces that showcase the incredible talent and skill of the French pianist. The album contains a total of three suites, each of which offers a unique and captivating musical experience.

Chamayou's performance on the piano is simply breathtaking, with his fingers dancing across the keys with incredible precision and fluidity. He brings a sense of passion and emotion to each piece, capturing the essence of the music and conveying it to the listener in a way that is both powerful and moving.

The album's first suite, "Suisse," is a collection of pieces that were inspired by Liszt's travels through Switzerland. Chamayou's interpretation of these pieces is masterful, with his playing capturing the beauty and grandeur of the Swiss landscape.

The second suite, "Italie," is a collection of pieces that were inspired by Liszt's travels through Italy. Chamayou's performance on these pieces is equally impressive, with his playing capturing the warmth, passion, and vibrancy of Italian culture.

The final suite, "Années De Pèlerinage," is a collection of pieces that were inspired by Liszt's travels throughout Europe. Chamayou's performance on these pieces is perhaps the most impressive of all, with his playing capturing the essence of each country and culture that Liszt encountered on his journey.

Born: October 22, 1811, Doborján, Austria-Hungary (present-day Raiding, Austria). Died: July 31, 1886, Bayreuth, Germany. Franz Liszt was a Hungarian composer, virtuoso pianist, conductor, music teacher, arranger, organist, philanthropist, author, nationalist and a Franciscan tertiary. He was a renowned performer throughout Europe, noted especially for his showmanship and great skill with the piano. To this day, he is considered by some to have been the greatest pianist in history. Liszt's musical invention went into territories which were then almost unexplored, in particular as regards harmonic research, as emerges from the late piano works, which led him to anticipate fragments of harmonies from the early twentieth century. His preference for program music is testified by the numerous symphonic poems he composed. Father-in-law to .
