Sheet rock n roll sorcery!!! Seeing this played live was a life game changer! Beauty.
I acquired a free vinyl copy of Akimbo Alogo the other day, and I was relatively unimpressed until I got to this song. What a great slice of 80's hard rock with a funk groove. I had to come to YouTube to add this to a playlist for future listening.
Robert Sinclair Wilson lays down a growling bass line ! Perhaps the best line-up Kim's ever had. No wonder Akimbo Alogo is one of his strongest recordings. It sounds a lot better than his biggest succes Shaking Like a Human Being. Maybe you can check out Kim's live video of " Deep Dive" where R.S. Wilson gives us a little bass guitar lesson ...
