Review by Vitor Mendes

"Come Blow Your Horn" by Jack McVea and His Orchestra is a classic jazz album that showcases the talent of McVea and his band. Released in 1956, the album features a mix of original compositions and covers, all performed with precision and style.

The album opens with the title track, a lively and upbeat number that sets the tone for the rest of the record. McVea's saxophone skills are on full display here, as he leads the band through a series of intricate solos and riffs.

Other standout tracks include "Roll 'Em Pete", a bluesy number featuring vocals by Wynonie Harris, and "St. Louis Blues", a classic jazz standard that McVea and his band make their own with their unique arrangement.

It's either putting another song on the B side or leaving it blank - This is probably one of those sides that was only used as filler in the style of instrumental rock 'n' roll singles.

It's a great record, but not for this side, which is OK, meh.. The Sharps is the KILLER group, not the Jack McVea Orch..

Well I know why it's rare. That's one of the worst rock instrumentals I've ever heard. It sounds as if the recording was constantly getting stuck and repeating itself. Rare is not always good.
