Review by Aline Galaxo

Jack Christie's latest album, Payday Riding Home At Sundown, is a delightful blend of country and folk music that is sure to please fans of both genres. From start to finish, the album is filled with catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and expertly crafted instrumentation.

The album's opening track, "Riding Home At Sundown," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its upbeat tempo and twangy guitar riffs. Other standout tracks include "Payday Blues," a soulful ballad that showcases Christie's impressive vocal range, and "Down In The Holler," a foot-tapping bluegrass number that will have listeners tapping their toes in no time.

One of the things that sets Payday Riding Home At Sundown apart from other country and folk albums is Christie's attention to detail when it comes to the instrumentation. Each track is carefully crafted with a variety of instruments, including banjos, fiddles, and mandolins, all of which come together to create a rich, full-bodied sound that is both authentic and original.
