So unique, crazy sophisticated and ahead of its time, this song.
Never saw the end of RLTTM, with the smile,or as StWilliiam Rory Gallagher just the smile!Old Chris a fiddler of Albuquerque NM
Jack Bruce was one of the finest vocalist and bassist in the history of Music. The fact that he was prominently invited to participate at the recording of "ESCALATOR OVER THE HILL" is just one example.
I remember a long ago night, driving my 1974 Dodge Ramcharger down I-10 in southern Arizona. It was late and the highway was deserted. Nothing but me, my truck, and an enormous full moon. I happened to be listening to this song and it was perfect. It was like the song was written for that moment. The song and that moon. I will never, ever forget it. It was one of those rare moments that stays with you for life.
Great tune. This cat was crazy talented
Still gets me after 40 years
Funny, I appreciate him much more without the other members of Cream.
I miss Simon Asher ( Jack Bruce) :(
It's absolutely UN- COOL, NOT GOOD- TO NOT LISTEN TO JACK BRUCE SOLO ALBUMS
Masterpiece!
Last song my dad ever shared with me before he passed. Miss you Pops.
I've never seen the tuning for this. My best guess is EBDGBC# low to high.
Jack Bruce's music provides the gravity that keeps the ladder suspended.
Songs for a tailor is an awesome lp..one of the greatest of that era. RIP JACK
This and As You Said ... Never liked Cream much. Jack Bruce's solo stuff was much more interesting, so much more enjoyable
Words by Pete Brown and the passion ,the atmospherics ...all Jack.
So underated as good as anything cream did if not better
The emergence of
The Open Mic longhaired songwriter within Jack
