Review by Andy Glover

Isao Tomita's album The Bermuda Triangle is a masterpiece that transcends time and space. The album features a collection of electronic music that is both haunting and mesmerizing. The tracks are inspired by the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle, and Tomita's use of synthesizers and other electronic instruments creates an otherworldly atmosphere that transports the listener to another dimension.

The album opens with the track "The Bermuda Triangle," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The use of sound effects and electronic instruments creates a sense of unease and mystery, and the listener is immediately drawn into the world of the Bermuda Triangle.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Whirlpool," which features a pulsating beat that is both hypnotic and intense. The use of electronic instrumentation creates a sense of urgency and danger, perfectly capturing the essence of the Bermuda Triangle.

Another highlight of the album is "The Lurking Fear," which features a haunting melody that is both beautiful and eerie. The track is a perfect example of Tomita's ability to create music that is both atmospheric and emotional.

This was in my dad's collection, and every Halloween he would put it on for the trick-or-treaters, so it has a fun, sorta creepy association for me. Playing it tonight, happy Halloween!

12:30 to get to the music part of this album. I got this album as a promo from a local radio station and, being a keyboard player myself, enjoyed every second of the entire music score. Tomita was a music genius! RIP

I love this album and still have the vinyl. It was my first. I think parts of it are quirky, but that's Tomita's style. It's my favourite of all his albums because I feel it's the most accomplished, and because Isao was so enthralled with space and sci-fi themes. I believe it was probably the one that he most enjoyed creating, done at a time in his career when he had gathered together the right knowledge, equipment and effects to develop his style to perfection. Bermuda Triangle is so rich with ideas, sounds, and Prokofiev is the perfect composer to provide the canvas for Tomita to express what he felt. For me it is the pinnacle of Tomita's music.

I scanned the inside of the album cover, see the following replies (to myself) for the info, which includes Foreword, an About section written by Tomita himself, his equipment list, and some secret messages that Tomita inserted among the music......(see Starseed Lightcodes comment for the full track listing)
I love this album. it was the first Tomita album I ever listened to. I found it in the library in the early 90's. It would be nice if this video had timestamps in, because the idea with this album was to visualize and fantasize while listening to the tracks.
